Implementasi Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Pemilihan Supplier Bahan Baku Utama Menggunakan Metode MOORA Pada PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia

Abstract

PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk, the largest producer of broiler chickens and animal feed in Indonesia, faces significant challenges in selecting suppliers for its main raw materials. Currently, the selection process relies on manual assessments, potentially influenced by subjective personal judgment. This makes it difficult to manage complex criteria such as price, quality, on-time delivery, supply capacity, and other risk factors that can impact production continuity. This situation has the potential to disrupt operational efficiency and reduce the company's competitiveness if errors occur in selecting suppliers. To address these issues, the development of a decision support system based on the MOORA (Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis) method is necessary. This method is able to comprehensively integrate various criteria, minimize the influence of subjectivity, and provide more objective and measurable recommendations. With this system, the supplier selection process is expected to be more accurate, efficient, and transparent. In addition, the system also supports production continuity, maintains consistent product quality, and increases the trust of business partners and consumers in the company
