Implementasi Algoritma K-Means Clustering Dalam Menganalisis Kepuasan Siswa Terhadap Pelayanan Pendidikan Pada SMK Swasta IT

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of student satisfaction with educational services at the Integrated Islamic Private Vocational School Shah Hamidun Majid using the K-Means Clustering algorithm. The main focus of this study includes aspects of teaching quality, school facilities, and other factors that influence the level of student satisfaction. Research data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and direct observation to obtain a comprehensive picture of student perceptions of educational services. The K-Means Clustering method was used to group students into several satisfaction categories, thus producing patterns and information that can be used as a basis for strategic decision-making by the school. This study was designed using the Waterfall methodology, which includes the stages of needs analysis, system design using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), PHP and MySQL-based implementation, and a comprehensive system testing stage. The final result of the study is a web-based application that is able to display student satisfaction reports in a structured, efficient, and easy-to-understand manner. This application is expected to assist schools in improving the quality of educational services and facilities, while also making a real contribution to the application of data mining technology in the field of education
