Perancangan Sistem Forecasting Peramalan Volume Limbah Sampah Menggunakan Metode Trend Moment Pada Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Tebingtinggi

Abstract

Effective waste management is one of the main challenges faced by the Tebing Tinggi City Environmental Service. The increase in waste volume due to population growth and economic activity often leads to accumulation of waste and less than optimal allocation of resources. This problem is exacerbated by the absence of a prediction system that can be used to estimate future waste volumes. Therefore, this research aims to design a forecasting system for predicting waste volume using the Trend Moment method. This method was chosen because of its ability to analyze historical data to identify patterns and trends, resulting in more accurate predictions. This research involves collecting waste volume data in a certain period which is then processed using the Trend Moment method. The results of this research are a forecasting system that is able to provide predictions of waste volume for the coming period. It is hoped that this system can help the Environmental Service in planning waste management more effectively, reducing the risk of waste accumulation, and creating a cleaner and healthier environment in Tebing Tinggi City
