Abstract

CV. Perdana Mandiri is a company engaged in the field of photocopier repair, photocopier rental, and sales of photocopiers and their components. In managing employee attendance, the company faces several problems, such as recording errors, data manipulation, low security of attendance data, and inefficient recording processes. This hinders effective and accurate human resource management. This study aims to design and build an employee attendance application based on steganography technology with the Least Significant Bit (LSB) and Quick Response (QR) Code methods. This system is designed to insert employee IDs hidden in digital images in the form of QR Codes that are unique to each employee. This mechanism ensures that attendance data is more secure, valid, and cannot be manipulated. In addition, the application is equipped with a verification feature that will automatically reject QR Codes that do not match the data in the system. The implementation results show that this attendance application is able to improve the accuracy, security, and efficiency of the employee attendance recording process. This system provides an innovative solution for more effective attendance management, while supporting company management in maintaining employee discipline and productivity
