Penerapan Metode Multiplicative Random Number Generator Untuk Pengacakan Soal TryOut Siswa Pada SMK PAB Helvetia Berbasis Web

Abstract

The process of randomizing questions during try-outs at PAB Helvetia Vocational School often experiences problems such as time inefficiency, imbalance in the level of difficulty of the questions, and the risk of question leaks. This problem results in a lack of objectivity and fairness in student evaluations. To overcome this, this research aims to develop a web-based question randomization system using the Multiplicative Random Number Generator (MRNG) method. This method was chosen because of its ability to generate random numbers efficiently and with even distribution. This system is designed to speed up the process of randomizing questions, ensure the level of difficulty of the questions is distributed equally, and maintain the confidentiality of the questions from the risk of leaks. Implementation of a web-based system allows school administrators and teachers to prepare for try-outs more quickly, safely and in a structured manner. The results of this research are an effective system in supporting the implementation of try-outs that are more transparent, objective and fair for students. With this system, student evaluations become more representative of their abilities, as well as increasing efficiency and trust in the try-out process in the school environment
