Metode Weighted Moving Average (WMA) Pada Aplikasi Forecasting Persediaan Sparepart Alat Berat Berbasis Web

Abstract

Currently, PT. Bolon Jaya Karya's inventory management system lacks a well-integrated system, relying solely on Microsoft Excel. Data management is limited to viewing sales transactions and inventory reports. PT. Bolon Jaya Karya records numerous sales transactions daily. This high volume of sales transactions impacts the company's spare parts inventory. Therefore, an appropriate Weighted Moving Average method is needed to help predict future spare parts inventory. The Weighted Moving Average method uses a moving average, but the most recent values in the time series are given greater weight in calculating the forecast. This application was developed using the PHP programming language and a MySQL database.
